Research Topics
Ok so I feel most comfortable with writing this paper because it is a research paper. Why? I'm not quite sure. I started out trying to go off a topic that was close-ish to my last paper. But it really didn't seem like an issue that I would like writing because it was about different cultures and there are soooo many that it could get way complicated waay too fast! Now Im writing about how other countries are surpassing the US test scores and that the gap of test scores could be lessened if we switched to year round education systems.

From reading what you had, I don't think your paper really dealt with test scores in particular. But rather just that students in other countries are going to school more days, for longer hours, with minimal breaks. And because of that, they are learning more and more prepared for the real world, thus taking all of our jobs. As we discussed on Thursday, you're off to a great start with a great topic. Good luck, and I look forward to reading the finished version :)
